Summary
This study tests whether an 8-week mindfulness-based stress reduction program can reduce aging anxiety and improve body image in middle-aged women aged 40-59. Fifty-eight women will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or a control group. The program includes weekly 2-hour sessions and one silent retreat day.
