Summary

This study tests whether a free mindfulness app can reduce anxiety in 40 adults waiting for planned surgery. Participants will use the app for 4 weeks before their operation. Researchers will measure their anxiety on the day of surgery and track pain and painkiller use afterward. The goal is to see if a simple, low-cost app can help patients feel calmer before going into the operating room.
