Smartphone app aims to help break the pain and addiction cycle
NCT ID NCT06947122
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a smartphone app called 'Mindful Journey' to see if it's helpful and easy to use for adults who are in recovery from opioid addiction and also have chronic pain. The app delivers short, on-the-spot mindfulness videos and exercises to help people manage difficult emotions and cravings in real-time. The main goal is to see if people find the app useful and will actually use it, not to prove it treats the conditions.
