Can a phone app calm cancer fears?
NCT ID NCT06008574
Summary
This study is testing whether it's practical to offer a smartphone app with mindfulness exercises to lung cancer patients before and after their surgery. The goal is to see if using the app helps reduce anxiety and distress related to their cancer diagnosis and treatment. The small pilot study enrolled 6 adults with lung cancer who reported high distress levels and were willing to practice mindfulness for about 20-30 minutes daily.
