Summary
This study aimed to create and test a mindfulness and stress-reduction program specifically for young adult Black men. The program used a mobile app to track daily stress from racism and its link to alcohol and marijuana use. The goal was to see if mindfulness practices could help manage emotional stress and reduce unhealthy coping behaviors. The study was terminated early.
