Can mind over matter ease the strain of dialysis?
NCT ID NCT07276828
Summary
This study is testing whether a relaxation technique called autogenic training can help people on long-term dialysis who struggle with restless legs, poor sleep, and fatigue. It will involve 54 stable patients aged 45-55 who have been on dialysis for at least 6 months. The goal is to see if 8 weeks of this mind-body practice improves their symptoms and quality of life, potentially offering a drug-free option for relief.
