First seen Mar 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study will test whether people with Parkinson's disease can stick to a Mediterranean-style diet for 18 months and whether it helps their gut health and symptoms. About 40 participants without dementia will be randomly assigned to either the special diet or a standard diet. Researchers will also measure how easy it is to recruit and retain participants for a future larger trial.
