Brain retraining program tested to tame menopause misery
NCT ID NCT07427459
Summary
This study is testing whether a mind-body training program can help reduce common symptoms of perimenopause, like hot flashes, sleep problems, fatigue, and mood changes. About 160 women will be randomly assigned to either start the 12-week program right away or be placed on a waitlist. The program teaches techniques like breathing exercises and mindfulness to help calm the body's stress response, with the goal of easing symptoms.
