New program aims to retrain the brain to ease debilitating spinal cord injury pain

NCT ID NCT07212725

Summary

This study is testing a 7-week coaching program designed to help adults with spinal cord injury manage their chronic pain. The program teaches brain-based pain science and practical self-management tools, aiming to shift people from passive patients to active managers of their pain. Researchers want to see if this approach leads to meaningful behavior changes and reduces how much pain interferes with daily activities.
