New program aims to heal hearts and minds after cardiac arrest
NCT ID NCT06517394
Summary
This small, completed pilot study tested a new 6-week mind-body program called 'Recovering Together' for people who survived a cardiac arrest and their primary caregivers. The goal was to see if the program was practical and acceptable for reducing emotional distress and improving coping skills for both members of the pair. Researchers delivered six short sessions and gathered feedback to refine the program for future testing.
