Heart surgery recovery: which drug helps the heart pump better?

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two common heart medications—milrinone or epinephrine—works better to support the right side of the heart immediately after open-heart surgery using a heart-lung machine. Researchers will enroll 102 adults undergoing this type of surgery to see which drug better prevents a specific type of heart weakness. The goal is to improve immediate recovery and stability for patients after their operation.
