Summary

This study tested the drug milrinone in 66 newborns with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH), a birth defect that causes severe breathing problems. The goal was to see if the drug could safely improve oxygen levels in the blood. The study compared milrinone to a placebo to check for safety and effectiveness.
