Summary
This study aims to understand which coping strategies help military personnel reduce suicidal thoughts in real-world situations. Researchers will track 334 active military members with recent suicidal thoughts using smartphone surveys throughout their day. The goal is to identify which emotion management techniques work best in different situations to improve suicide prevention approaches.
