Zapping head arteries: new hope for debilitating migraines?

NCT ID NCT07402954

Summary

This early study is testing whether a new procedure that uses gentle electrical stimulation on a specific artery in the head is safe and practical for people with severe, hard-to-treat migraines. Researchers will perform the procedure on 12 adults to see if it can be done without complications and if it might help reduce headache pain. The main goal is to check safety and feasibility, not to prove it works yet.
