Summary
This study tested three types of medication—blood thinners, anti-clotting drugs, and standard migraine treatments—to see which best reduces migraine attacks in people who also have a small hole in the heart (PFO). About 1,000 adults with frequent migraines took part. The goal was to find if heart-related medications work better than usual migraine therapy.
