Summary

This study tested whether the pill midodrine could help people with septic shock get off intravenous (IV) blood pressure medicine sooner. The trial planned to include many patients but was stopped early after only 10 people joined. The goal was to see if midodrine could reduce time on IV drugs and shorten hospital stays.
