First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This small, completed study tested whether a low dose of botulinum toxin (called microtox) can improve facial skin quality, fine wrinkles, and texture. Twenty women aged 18-65 with mild to moderate wrinkles received one treatment on their forehead and were followed for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if microtox makes skin look smoother and more youthful.
