Summary
This study looks at microplastic particles in the lungs of 119 patients, both with and without lung cancer. Researchers will collect fluid from the lungs during a routine procedure to measure how much plastic is there and what types. The goal is to understand if microplastic pollution is linked to lung cancer risk.
