First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether microneedling, a technique that creates tiny channels in the skin, followed by a cortisone cream, can improve burn scars. About 36 adults with raised, red, and stiff scars will receive up to 5 treatments. The goal is to make scars softer, thinner, and less red, easing discomfort and improving quality of life.
