Summary

This study tested whether small cash grants and peer mentoring could ease psychological distress in transgender adults struggling with material hardship. 360 participants were split into three groups: one received a single grant, another received monthly grants, and a third received monthly grants plus peer mentoring. The goal was to see if financial support and community connection could improve mental well-being.
