First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether transplanting gut bacteria from healthy donors is safe and possible for people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). 24 adults with PAH will receive either the bacteria transplant plus fiber, the transplant alone, or a placebo. Researchers will check safety, how well the donor bacteria settle in, and gather data to plan larger future studies.
