Summary
This study explores whether changing gut bacteria with antibiotics can prevent weight regain after losing at least 10% of body weight. Researchers will give antibiotics or a placebo to 200 adults with obesity (BMI 28-35) and track weight and microbiome changes. The goal is to find a new way to stop the common cycle of losing and regaining weight.
