NCT ID NCT07406594
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at how the bacteria in your gut change when you take Verzenio (abemaciclib) for breast cancer. Verzenio often causes diarrhea and other stomach problems, and researchers want to see if these changes in gut bacteria are linked to those side effects. About 12 adults with hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer will provide stool samples and fill out symptom questionnaires from home. The goal is to learn more so doctors can better manage side effects in the future.
