First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests a new, less invasive treatment for men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. Doctors use a special ultrasound to guide a laser that destroys the tumor. The goal is to see if this procedure is safe and can delay or eliminate the need for more aggressive treatments like surgery or radiation. About 7 men will take part, and researchers will track side effects and how well the laser works.
