Summary

This study looks at whether mobile health apps like Weight Watchers and Healthi can help low-income Hispanic adults with type 2 diabetes lose weight and improve blood sugar control. About 45 participants will use an app or a standard program for 6 months, weighing themselves daily and checking blood glucose before and after meals. The goal is to find which approach works best for weight loss and diabetes management in this community.
