Phone app aims to keep TB/HIV patients on track

NCT ID NCT04298905

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app can help community health workers better support people in South Africa who have both tuberculosis (TB) and HIV. The app helps coordinate care, allows for video check-ins for medication doses, and provides extra support if someone starts missing treatments. The goal is to help patients stick to their long-term medication plans, finish their TB treatment successfully, and stay healthy.
