Summary

This study looked at whether a single dose of methylphenidate (Ritalin) changes how people with both ADHD and alcohol use disorder respond to pictures of alcohol. 31 young adults aged 18-25 took part in brain scans, EEG, and behavioral tests after receiving either the drug or a placebo. The goal was to see if the medication affects attention and cravings related to alcohol.
