Summary

This study tested whether methylone, a drug similar to MDMA, can safely reduce PTSD symptoms. 79 adults with moderate to severe PTSD who had not improved with other treatments received either methylone or a placebo once a week for 4 weeks. Researchers measured symptom changes using a standard PTSD interview over 10 weeks.
