First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study checked if a blue dye called methylene blue, used to find lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery, changes blood pressure or heart rate while patients are under anesthesia. Researchers compared 220 women who got the dye to those who did not. The goal was to see if the dye helps keep blood pressure stable or causes drops that need extra medicine.
