Summary
This study looked at how a single dose of methamphetamine affects HIV activity in 14 people with HIV who were on effective treatment and had no history of meth use. Researchers measured changes in HIV production and inflammation over 4 hours. The goal was to understand how meth might interfere with HIV control and find new ways to target hidden HIV.
