NCT ID NCT05843188
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding hydroxychloroquine (a malaria drug) to standard chemotherapy can improve treatment for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread. The drug targets cancer cells that survive initial treatment. About 155 participants will be screened, and only those with a specific genetic signature will receive the new combination. The goal is to see if the tumor shrinks or stops growing.
