First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how certain thinking patterns, called metacognitive beliefs, relate to eating disorders in teenagers. Researchers will compare 72 girls aged 12-17 who have an eating disorder with a similar group of girls without one. The goal is to understand if these thought patterns play a role in the disorder, which could help improve future treatments.
