NCT ID NCT07218653
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at how metabolic syndrome (a cluster of conditions like high blood sugar and cholesterol) affects blood flow to the brain, and whether it does so more in women than men. Researchers will use MRI scans and exercise tests in 72 healthy adults and those with metabolic syndrome. The goal is to understand the underlying mechanisms, not to provide treatment.
