Summary
This study tested a monthly injection of mepolizumab versus placebo in 95 adults with severe asthma, nasal polyps, and sensitivity to aspirin or similar painkillers. The goal was to see if the drug could improve sinus symptoms and shrink nasal polyps better than placebo. The treatment aims to control the disease, not cure it.
