NCT ID NCT06962592

Summary

This study is testing whether a program led by experienced local mothers can help pregnant women in South Africa reduce alcohol use and stick to their HIV prevention or treatment medications. The program involves one-on-one supportive conversations with trained 'mentor mothers' who have personal experience. Researchers will follow 100 pregnant women for six months to see if the approach works.
