Former patients coach new ones through knee surgery fears
NCT ID NCT05217420
Summary
This study tests whether a coaching program called 'Moving Well' can help reduce anxiety and depression in people preparing for knee replacement surgery. The program pairs patients with trained coaches who have already had the same surgery. Researchers want to see if this mental and physical preparation leads to better recovery after the operation.
