Mind over matter: can thinking about movement heal your ankle?
NCT ID NCT07376915
Summary
This study is testing a mental training technique called Graded Motor Imagery to see if it can provide immediate benefits for people with chronic ankle instability. Researchers will measure changes in pain, muscle strength, balance, and the feeling of instability in 48 participants, comparing those with ankle problems to healthy individuals. The goal is to see if this non-physical mental practice can be a helpful addition to standard rehabilitation.
