Summary
This study is testing a new talk therapy program designed to help people with type 2 diabetes who are also struggling with their mental health. The program teaches skills to manage stress, negative thoughts, and the emotional challenges of living with a chronic illness. Researchers will compare 80 participants who either receive the new program or standard care to see if it improves mood, reduces diabetes-related distress, and helps with taking medications.
