Can a simple course heal the hidden wounds of war for refugee families?
NCT ID NCT07062341
Summary
This study is testing whether a group-based stress management course can improve the mental health of refugee mothers and the wellbeing of their young children. It involves about 720 mother-child pairs in a refugee settlement in Uganda. The program is delivered by trained peers and aims to see if helping mothers cope better also leads to positive, lasting benefits for their children.
