Researchers partner with community to build mental health knowledge program

Summary
This study aims to create and test a 12-week educational program designed to improve mental health knowledge and attitudes, specifically for young Black adults who have experienced trauma. The program will be developed in partnership with a community advisory board and then piloted with 80 participants. The goal is to see if the program increases understanding of mental health, reduces stigma, and encourages seeking professional help when needed.
