Summary

This study looks at whether adding mental health support to regular type 1 diabetes care can improve both mood and blood sugar levels. About 80 adults will fill out online surveys every six months for 18 months. Some will also have at least one talk session with a behavioral health consultant during the first year. The goal is to see if this approach helps people feel better and manage their diabetes more effectively.
