Summary

This study tested whether a 12-week phone app could help children with cancer and their families build mental resilience. Forty participants, including kids with new cancer diagnoses and other chronic illnesses, received daily texts with links to mindfulness and self-reflection exercises. Researchers wanted to see if the app was easy to use and helpful for reducing anxiety and depression.
