First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a booster shot of the MenQuadfi vaccine is safe and effective for toddlers aged 12 to 23 months who had already received a meningococcal vaccine as babies. The goal was to see if the booster could strengthen their protection against a serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and blood infections. The study involved 71 healthy toddlers in Argentina who received one booster dose and had their immune response measured before and after the shot.
