VA launches First-Ever menopause therapy program designed specifically for women veterans

NCT ID NCT06580470

Summary

This VA study is developing and testing a specialized telehealth therapy program to help aging women veterans manage menopause symptoms like hot flashes, sleep problems, anxiety, and depression. The program adapts existing menopause therapy techniques to address the unique needs of women veterans, considering their military service experiences and health challenges. Researchers will work with veterans and healthcare providers to create the program, then test it with 48 participants to see if it improves their daily functioning and quality of life.
