Summary
This study tested a new vaccine to protect against four types of meningococcal bacteria, which can cause serious infections like meningitis. Over 1,500 healthy infants and toddlers in India and South Africa received the vaccine alongside their regular childhood shots. The goal was to see if the new vaccine produced a strong immune response and was safe.
