Summary

This study tested a new vaccine (MenACYW) against an existing one (Nimenrix) to prevent meningococcal disease, a serious infection that can cause meningitis. About 840 healthy infants and toddlers received two shots—one at 6 months and another at 12 months. The goal was to see if the new vaccine triggers a strong immune response and is safe for young children.
