Summary

This study looks at whether the sleep supplement melatonin can help teens aged 12-18 recover better after major surgery on their bones or spine. About 45 teens will take melatonin or a placebo to see if it improves sleep, pain, and quality of life. The goal is to find out if this approach is practical and helpful for recovery.
