Summary

This study tests whether applying melatonin to a new dental implant helps it fuse more firmly with the jawbone. Sixteen adults needing a single lower tooth replaced will receive either melatonin or a placebo during implant surgery. Researchers will measure implant stability and pain levels to see if melatonin improves healing.
