Summary

This study tests a new gel for melasma, a skin condition causing dark patches on the face. The gel combines tranexamic acid, aloe, and a penetration enhancer to improve effectiveness and reduce side effects. Ten women with melasma will apply the gel for 12 weeks, and doctors will measure changes in skin pigmentation.
