New cancer drugs may harm fertility: study seeks answers

Summary
This study aims to understand if newer, effective drugs for preventing melanoma from returning can harm a woman's ability to have children. It will follow 270 young women under 40 who have had melanoma surgery and are taking these preventive drugs. Researchers will measure hormone levels and track pregnancy rates to see if these treatments affect fertility, helping doctors give better advice about preserving fertility.
